Tramin - The South of South Tyrol, - the "warm South Tyrol".

Tramin lies 276 metres above sea level, just 50 metres above the broad Valle dell'Adige and therefore not far from the bottom of the valley. We are in the warmest region of South Tyrol and our local biker’s cycle through the entire winter. In spring we reach temperatures beyond 20° ideal to start the cycling season and pedal through a sea of apple blossoms.

Cycling in Termeno and the region around Lake Caldaro is extremely eventful and varied. Whether mountain bike tours over trails up to the peaks of the Mendela ridge at over 2000m above sea level, road bike tours over the wine route and to the Passo Mendola or e-biking and pleasure cycling along the countless cycle paths in the valleys. The magic of diversity makes our holiday destination interesting for every type of cyclist.

Accompanied by a bike guide who knows the area, we cycle along the barely used roads on the valley floor in the direction of Egna and then around Lake Caldaro. We learn all about Termeno and its agricultural life. The first stop is the "Hirtenhof" where we listen to the words of the local farmer Marta, who presents her agricultural products to us. When we arrive at Lake Caldaro, we stop for a cappuccino or ice cream and enjoy the flair of the lake and the charming surroundings. We pedal stress-free towards Termeno, where in the middle of the vineyards a winegrower awaits us with his self-produced wines which he offers for tasting before we return to our starting point.
