“Mitterbergrunde” – From lake Monticolo to Lake Caldaro

The “Mitterbergrunde” is a classic roll-in tour with a medium ascent in the middle section. We cycle along a wonderful, idyllic road next to the Adige river until shortly before Bolzano, turn off in the direction of Merano and Appiano and follow the uphill section until the descent to Monticolo. If you want to make a detour to the Monticolo lakes, this is your chance. Afterwards, we return via the lake Caldaro.
