Hiking

This leisurely hike starts at the fairground. From there, walk along the tarmac road until 50 metres after the bridge, where you follow the signs for "Wanderweg Kalterer See" to the right. You will reach the wine route in just under an hour. About 100 metres further along the wine road, we cut off the wine road on the left on a field path. After about 10 minutes you will reach the little church of St Josef am See. Walking in the right-hand direction you reach Lake Kaltern. Return the same way or by bus.
