Rosengarten

The Rosengarten is a mountain range around 8 kilometres long. The mountain massif stretches from the Schlern massif in the north to the Karerpass in the south. The 3004-metre high Kesselkogel is the highest point of the Rosengarten. The area around the Rosengarten has been part of the Schlern - Rosengarten Nature Park since 2003. The mountain region offers a marvellous panorama in all seasons. The area also offers many hiking and forest trails as well as via ferratas. In winter, the Carezza Dolomites ski area is located at the foot of the Rosengarten.
