Parts of the Dolomites have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. At 3343 metres, the Marmolada is the highest mountain in the Dolomites Mountain group. The Three Peaks, the Catinaccio and the Sciliar are other well-known peaks in the Dolomites. The Dolomites have countless hiking trails and via ferratas to offer. They are also home to the Ladin people.
