Traminer hiking week for the grape harvest - South Tyrol

Autumn, the brilliant colours in the vineyards. Even the sharpest photos can only hint at the natural beauty hidden in this blessed stretch of land around Tramin. Hiking through our vineyards and the mixed forest around Lake Kaltern. The sun still warms the body and soul. A stop at a wine tavern or country inn with South Tyrolean specialities and a glass of Traminer wine and the battery is recharged.

Programme:

Sunday 8 October "Welcome".

The evening starts with registration at the Tourist Office, followed by a reception for hiking enthusiasts with a snack, welcome drink and presentation of the programme.

Monday 9 October "Unesco World Natural Heritage Dolomites: Lake Carezza"

Great hike starting at the Karersee along the foot of the Latemar with amazing views.

Tuesday 10 October "Sarntal" Durnholz - Reinswald"

From Lake Durnholz in the Sarentino Valley, the largest valley community in South Tyrol, to Reinswald valley station of the valley's skiing and hiking area.

Wednesday 11 October "Around Tramin

Hike through orchards and vineyards around Tramin. A "Törggele" meal with musical entertainment is planned for lunch, where you can enjoy Tramin wines and chestnuts. The afternoon is at your free disposal.

Thursday 12 October "Vinschgau - from Kortsch to Latsch".

From Sonneberg in Vinschgau and the village of Latsch nis to Kortsch. The Schlanderer Leiten biotope and the mountains opposite offer wonderful views of the Vinschgau landscape.

Friday 13 October "Wine hike in and around Tramin".

Finally, a varied wine hike through the autumnal landscape along the wine paths from Tramin via Kurtatsch to Margreid. In the evening there will be a convivial closing celebration with dinner.
